UFile Tax Preparation Software will be provided for the Canada Revenue Agency's Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP)

February 2, 2006 - Montreal, Quebec - Dr Tax Software, the largest Canadian-owned tax software developer for the consumer and professional tax community, today announced that the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) will provide its volunteers in the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP) with UFile Pro tax software. Volunteers can take advantage of the software to help people complete and file their income tax and benefit returns.

The CVITP assists eligible individuals who are unable to complete their income tax and benefit returns themselves and are unable to pay for assistance.

CVITP clinics consist of volunteers from associations, community groups and non-profit organizations across Canada. UFile Pro provides a professional level of functionality, while incorporating the ability to electronically file returns using the CRA's Efile services.

Dr. Tax will also provide both its toll free and online customer support services to help CVITP volunteers with software assistance and technical support.
