Additional recommended software

In order to be fully functional, the current version of DT Max's extensive HTML help system requires Microsoft Internet Explorer version 6.0 (IE6) or higher to be installed. Internet Explorer 6 (IE6) is included on the DT Max CD-ROM. You can continue to use Firefox or any other Internet browser of your choice, depending on your preference.

We recommend that all users get Adobe Reader, which enables you to view and print files in PDF format. DT Max uses the PDF technology in both its archiving and export or email tax return features. If you do not already have Adobe Reader installed, you can download a free copy from the Adobe site.

To enjoy the DT Max client letter editing features, we recommend that you get a standard word processing software such as MS Word or OpenOffice Writer that can read, edit, and format RTF files.
