Software support
Our support hours from May 1st to February 28th are
from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST Monday through Friday.
During March and April, support hours are expanded
to 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. EST on weekdays, and 9:00
a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST on Saturdays and Sundays.

DT Max support team is at your service when you cannot
find the answers to your tax or technical (computer and
peripherals or efile) questions.
Support for DT Max users is available through a number
of channels.

The DT Max Knowledge Base:
The Knowledge base provides you a complete reference guide
to all features and functions of DT Max. It is provided
as part of your DT Max installation and is also available
online at www.drtax.ca/eng/kb/new/. The online version
is constantly being updated as required. The Knowledge base
also contains the What's new? bulletin, which informs you
of the latest changes to the program and refers you to relevant
files in the knowledge base to look up further information.
It also features the FAQ's (frequently asked questions),
which report typical questions asked by our users and which
we feel may be of interest to all. Among those are the Known
issues, which document glitches encountered in using the
program.
Support request form:
If you are unable to find the answer to your question in
the Knowledge base, send your questions and receive your
replies by email for the best response time. Use the Dr
Tax software support request form, accessible by selecting
Software support from the Help menu in the DT Max program.
The Support request form may be used to fax your request
but, when emailed, it has the advantage of two unique tools
that help our support staff to diagnose more complex tax
or technical questions.
- Anonymous Extract: The anonymous extract gathers
all the information contained in your client's file with
the exception of the client's name and social insurance
number. This data can then be easily attached to the support
request form (within DT Max). This feature is available
in the DT Max Help menu, under Software support.
- Diagnostics: If you have a technical support
problem that requires you to provide Dr Tax with information
about your system, you can create a diagnostic report.
From the Help menu, choose Software support, then Diagnostics,
and click the button Generate report.

Fax
Select the Software support option from the Help menu,
and click Support request form. Fill out the form, print
it and fax it to Dr Tax at 514-733-8058. A member of the
software support team will quickly get back to you by fax
or by telephone.
